My name is Shalonda Joseph I am a proud product of Port Arthur Independent School district. I attend elementary on an Air force Base, my father was in the military for several years. I attended Woodrow Wilson Middle School and graduated from Lincoln High School when my Dad retired from the military and we moved back to my parents home town Port Arthur, TX. I Worked several years in higher education as a Librarian Associate at Lamar University Library. I graduated from Lamar University in 2014 with my BAAS and a minor in Social Work. I have an EC-12 special Education certification. This is my 4th year teaching Early Childhood Special Education at Wheatley Early Childhood Programs. I love the atmosphere and programs at Wheatley they give children and parents a strong educational foundation. I have three children two beautiful daughters and a handsome son who all are attending college at this time.
I have a passion for education and learning, also great compassion for the youth of the world in this day and age. A child can go so far with an education and proper support from teachers, parents, and the community . It is a honor and a privilege to mold,shape, and progress young minds. Serving children and families of the community is so rewarding and I am thankful for the opportunity.
